Privacy Policy

Introduction. ROW collects personal information on individuals who are using our services, by entering it into an internal computer database system. This system was created to get a more accurate count of individuals and families served through our organization, and to meet reporting requirements of various funding sources. Information collected in our database system includes:

  1. Basic identifying demographic data (name, address, phone number, date of birth).
  2. Services and referrals you receive from our agency.

Our ability to assist you depends on having certain personal identifying information. If you choose not to share the information we request, we reserve the right to decline to provide you with services as doing so could jeopardize our status as a service provider. We assume that, by requesting services from our agency, you agree to allow us to collect information and to sue it or disclose it as described in this notice and otherwise as allowed or required by law.

Although we collect your name in our database, it will be completely confidential and will not be provided to anyone outside of our agency unless you provide a written release of information. Only non-identifying information will be provided to funders or others to meet reporting requirements.

Confidentiality Rights: Maintaining the privacy and safety of those using our services is very important to us. This agency follows all confidentiality regulations and also has its own confidentiality policy. As a individual receiving services through Redevelopment Opportunities for Women, Inc. (ROW), you have the following rights:

  1. To humane care and treatment
  2. To receive prompt evaluation and care
  3. To be involved in the development of your goal/action plan
  4. To be treated with dignity and respect
  5. To have your records kept confidential
  6. To have the same legal rights and responsibilities as any other citizen
  7. To be free from verbal and physical abuse
  8. To be free from sexual harassment
  9. To see and review your own records and to request a correction of your record
  10. To file a grievance if you feel that you have been unjustly served, put at personal risk, harmed, or your personal information was not handled correctly.
